To help Universum Clinic expand its patient base and optimize advertising efficiency, Nanobot crafted a tailored PPC campaign that significantly increased the number of leads while reducing the cost per lead and cost per click.
Throughout the campaign, we increased the clinic’s leads from 100 to over 1,100, reducing the cost per lead by 63%. This case demonstrates how data-driven PPC strategies can create measurable growth, even in the competitive healthcare sector.
Objectives
Universum Clinic offers high-quality medical services to patients across Ukraine. As the healthcare market increasingly competes, Universum Clinic sought to enhance its online advertising efforts to attract more inquiries and appointments.
The clinic had three key objectives for this project:
- Substantially increase the number of leads.
- Identify the most effective types of ad campaigns.
- Reduce the CPL and CPC to ensure maximum return on investment.
To achieve these goals, Nanobot developed a customized PPC campaign to deliver sustainable results.
Tasks
To meet Universum Clinic’s objectives, the Nanobot team outlined the following key tasks:

- Test and refine multiple advertising formats, such as search and display ads, to determine the best-performing channels.
- Optimize ad copy and targeting to build user trust and encourage inquiries or bookings.
- Improve landing pages to align seamlessly with ad content and enhance the user experience.
- Implement ongoing monitoring and campaign adjustments to maximize results and reduce costs.
Our Approach
The Nanobot team adopted a systematic and data-driven approach to design and implement Universum Clinic’s PPC campaign.
The project began with a detailed market analysis to identify the most relevant keywords and assess competitors’ strategies. Based on this research, we developed and tested different advertising formats, including search and display ads, to determine which performed best for the clinic’s target audience.
Ad copy was optimized to emphasize Universum Clinic’s trusted reputation and high-quality healthcare services. Compelling calls-to-action encouraged users to inquire about appointments, while precise audience targeting ensured the ads reached the right people.
We enhanced landing pages to improve alignment with ad content and provide a seamless and intuitive user experience. We boosted the campaign's overall conversion rate by ensuring that visitors could quickly access the information they needed and take action.
Results
The tailored PPC campaign delivered outstanding results for Universum Clinic. The total number of leads grew from just 100 to 1,117, representing an 11x increase in inquiries. At the same time, the CPL dropped dramatically from 68.75 UAH to 25.16 UAH, reducing lead acquisition costs by 63%.
Additionally, the campaign improved the CPC, which increased slightly to 2.37 UAH while maintaining a robust ROI. The conversion rate also improved significantly, rising from 2.11% to 9.43%, indicating a stronger ability to convert website visitors into leads.
